Usagi Yojimbo is awesome

The first time I saw a Usagi Yojimbo comic was a month ago when I saw my 14 year old brother reading it. I asked him what its about and when he said a samurai rabbit I laughed and thouht it was meant for little kids. He insisted it was good and after bugging me for a few weeks to read it I relented and read the first issue. Ever since then I've been hooked.
Some of the storys are deep enough for even a 21 year old like me to appreciate. This comic can be read by children but is in no way solely meant for them. I am suprised that there are no movies or Tv shows being made based on Yusagi (though i have heard of the guest apperance on Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles) I am especially suprised that no video games is being made based on this since it is perfectley set-up for a great action-RPG title. Anyway, I just want to thank Stan Saki for making such a great series and to let him know that he just got another fan.

Welcome aboard, pathos.
Soon you will be an obsessed fanboy like the rest of us, spending your hard earned money on every rare one-of-a-kind Usagi stuff, instead of buying food and paying for your rent.

There was, a long time ago, for 8 bit computers (1989) and very good it was too. But you're right, there does need to be a modern Usagi game

Usagi is awesome!!

I may have strayed away from time to time, but, I always come back. Usagi has been ,and always will be, my favorite comic of all time!!( with "Groo the Wanderer" coming in a close second!) Long Live Usagi Yojimbo!!!! Abayo!

Yep, Usagi Yojimbo's antropomorphic characters are shocking for those who don't get info about the comic itself. I knew he appeared in the old TMNT show and I saw his action figure... and when the UY was edited in Spain, I began to read it and... well, here I am, waiting for the next books to come out...
It's quite strange that some people say "A bunny samurai? How childish!" and then get impressed as they read the stories of Usagi and cia. I have a friend who still can't believe I read the stories of a bunny ronin, a rhino bounty hunter and so. He's missing such great stories, as he loves Japanese culture (maybe more than me), but I can't force him to read it, right?
About a videogame based on UY... well, there was this old one, but I don't know if Mr Sakai would be interested in giving licenses for making a UY videogame. I suppose we should wait for him to tell us or something. ;P
Animated series or movies... it would be quite interesting. The question is: based on the original comics or with new plots? That's another interesting thing and I guess Mr Sakai is the only one who knows its answer.

I think both The Dragon Bellow Conspiracy and Grasscutter would be awesome movies. And then the sequel Grasscutter II.
