Is Usagi published in German?

If so, where might I obtain an issue or two? My son is starting to take German in school and I thought reading Usagi in this language it might be a neat way to get excited about learning it, and he could share it with his classmates.

Sure has...

Although I am uncertain as to how to go about obtaining the issues. I went to Carlsen Verlag's site (the publisher) and tried a search, but Usagi Yojimbo did not come up. My assumption is that they are out of print. I have a set, and they are very nice, prestige format and everything.
Update: I just found this site:

Perhaps you could order them here. This appears to be the new German UY publisher... I did a search on their shop and came up with
http://www.freibeutershop.de/shop/advan ... 127cb2d6cd
Looks like they are 12 EURO each....

The freibeutershop is probably the best way to go, but you could also go to the Schwarzer Turm forum at:
http://www.comicforum.de/showthread.php ... gi+yojimbo
and after registering, you could contact "Millie" (aka Michael Moeller of Schwarzer Turm) via PM through the forum and probably purchase some as well.
I recently purchased volume #1, as well as aquired a copy of freibeuter #2 magazine through him. The air-mail shipping cost was Euro 9.00 for the two items, close to half of what the couple ebay sellers are charging (yes, there are a few German issues of Usagi available on ebay if you click on the link to show non-English listings), and the package arrived in a week.
If you opt for surface mail from Germany, expect delivery to take up to 2 months (like my copy of MangasZene #11 featuring Usagi on the cover, or the Comixene magazine #58 I recently ordered from Andi's Comic Express).
If you order through Amazon's German site,
http://www.amazon.de/?site=amazon&tag=i ... -dehome-21 , expect slow delivery as well.
Abayo....

Andi's Comic Express and Amazon.de both accept payment by credit card, and the bank takes care of the currency conversion. (I think the freibeutershop also takes credit cards, but it does not seem to want to accept US addresses).
If you pay using Paypal, they have an option where you can select the currency for payment.
Both Paypal and the bank charge a minimal service fee for currency conversions / international transactions.
Babelfish is a great help in figuring out what those online registration forms are asking for.

If you are registered with amazon here, you should be able to use their German site as well, making it the most convenient.
Abayo.....
(I was too slow answering, your question disappeared)
