Mmmmh, I still have lots of Usagi volumes to read before I catch on issue #97, but it seems to me that Mr. Sakai is leaning towards a more stylized, sketch-like drawing.

In the fourth page : these two guys who're "playing" with their swords have hilarious attitudes. They're so immature they'd make a perfect comedy duo. Lovely.

And look at Usagi's face in the second case, I've never seen him so funnily vexed and grumpy. Sounds more like Gen's, doesn't it ? :D

Reminds me a bit of the two gangs in the Kurosawa film "Yojimbo" when Mifune climbs up the watch tower to watch them battle it out. :lol:

Also, one of the versions of the fight in Rashamon, where both fighters were too scared to get within reach to swing their sword....

I'll bet that scoundrel is just watching Usagi get all tired out because he's going to duel him. I can't wait to read the rest when it comes out.
