Usagi Yojimbo DojoBoard

Last night I watched the 4 Big Brawl episodes in which Usagi and Gen appeared. I thought they were good, but Its not the same as seeing Stan draw it. What did you guys think?

keep in mind that had stan drawn them in those episodes, they would have looked totally out of place because of the different drawing styles.

Thats not how I meant it, I was just saying that I would prefer to see Stans Usagi. I would be cool to have that Usagi look more like the one from the comics, with the same Hakama and Keiogi. But for the most part it was great, I havent seen any other episodes except those, is it a good series?

I would have to say it's a good series, but I haven't watched it as of late, due tot the fact my schedule is *SO* cramped....


But on the old episodes I've seen...I've loved him...so, it can't be all that bad...right?

And Usagi shows up from time to time.

I happen to love Usagi in the new Toon.
For me, it's sooo much better than the old Toon. Usagi is treated as a much wiser and intelligent character, as well as a really skilled fighter, and he plays important roles in the most of the episodes he appears in. (I say most because the Mikey Christmas was more of a cameo appearance for Usagi.)
I realize it's not "canon" for the Usagi of the comic books, but I love having the character of Usagi appear in the TMNT cartoon episodes.
