I just have to say, big ups to Stan for the cover of issue #99. I am just blown away by this beautiful piece of work, and it is undoubtedly the best cover I have ever seen in all my years collecting comics. It blends the stillness of the water with the violence occuring above it in such a fantastic way. Yoshitoshi himself would be envious of this work.

I saw this while at darkhorse.com while gobbling up #98. Truly an amazing peice of art. All I have to say Stan is WOW.

Thank you. Much of the credit has to go to Tom Luth for his wonderful coloring. Without the colors, the art pretty much looks like a mass of squiggles and scratches.

don't be overmodest; without your artwork the colours would look like blobs of red, blue, and yellow, with an occasional mixture of them...

It's the combination of your awesome drawing and Tom's skillful and sensitive colouring that had us fans hooked; You both make a pretty good team, keep it on...
