Future developments of the storyline

Hi,

I've just re-read all my UY issues. Todd Rennell's email was printed in #95. He pointed out, "that the status quo is rarely shaken up". I share his opinion and would like to make the following suggestions:

I'd like to see Usagi in more desperate situations. Chizu - who has won his trust - might eventually betray him, so that they will end up as sworn enemies. Usagi on the other hand might need to join forces with his enemies. How a about a temporary alliance with Lord Hebi, that he has to keep secret.

Will Usagi undergo adventures in Edo and/or Kyoto?

Bye!

P.S.: The cover art for #101 looks quite promising/scary.

Usagi's world walks a delicate balance between the exciting threat of drama/devastation and a safe/comforting return to the familiar. Just as Usagi can turn from an innocent and somewhat naive character to a fierce warrior, so can his world turn from a pretty anthropomorphic wonderworld to a place of dark desperation, sorcery, and lawlessness. I think Stan walks this line quite well, and while a poigniant death or betrayal might make Usagi's world a bit more compelling, I'd be wary of introducing too much of that into the story. Jotoro was all the shake-up I needed, personally.
