In cae people are unfamiliar with what a Kappa is...
Well basicly it means waterchild of sorts although other names it has been called. A kappa is sort of a trouble maker of sorts (as you can see in UY tradepaperback book #2 story KAPPA) possibly where the child part gets labeled in the name. To be more specific it is wives tales/folklore from Japan. CLosely resembling a bald turtle of sorts. the interesting feature of a Kappa not only lies in appearance but also in its' unique qualities. there is a sort of bowl indent in its' head if you will. this indent is where it holds water when it is out of the water.
Now a Kappa is not always evil of sorts. From folklore a Kappa can be cooperative if treated correctly. With all water creatures they do not enjoy fire and have a fondness for watery eats.
If you are interested in seeeing a Kappa in action please check out UY tradepaperback (graphic novel as some say) Book 2. Do not want to give anymore info by some chance someone who has not read it yet.
