Was going through some of my Disney comics, when I happened to spot Stan's name as lettering credit in Rescue Rangers issue #7. Guess I'll be going through all the others now to see if there are any more :)

I ran across the following information on the Atomic Avenue web-site
https://www.atomicavenue.com/atomic/Tit ... tleID=4535
Has anybody ever heard of this comic, and did they ever publish any Usagi (or non-Usagi) stories by Stan in it?
Threat! (Fantagraphics, 1986-1987)

Some sort of creature has been sighted roaming about New Jersey’s Meadowlands, and performance artist and filmmaker Ultra Violent is looking for him. The Holo Brothers have no background to speak of, and their “nonexistent” status affords them the freedom to break the law in a number of ways. Usagi Yojimbo follows the way of the rabbit samurai.

This black-and-white anthology magazine from Fantagraphics offers up some intriguing alternatives to the usual spandex-and-fisticuffs of the comic book scene. Each installment is a bit short, but enough to bring readers back for more.

Threat! #8
Cover Date: 1/1/1987

I remember Threat, but I don't remember doing anything for it.

I could have, though. It was published by Fantagraphics, and Kim was probably its editor.

I drilled down to the actual page...

It does say Usagi Yojimbo appears in the issue. This is news to me. Never recalled Usagi in an issue of Threat. Maybe it was that 1-page ad that appeared around the time...you know, the one where Usagi meets the barbarian. That one often gets confused for a one-page story. I mean it technically is, but it also appeared in many other places, and has that ad info...

Heh - I'd love to see a similar "tutorial" starring Jei, explaining the basics of Japanese ghosts, ghouls 'n' spooks...

That makes sense to me. I've run across other comics listing this page in the credits. I asked an ebay seller who was selling a copy for a list of credits for the particular issue and he did not include Stan in the list.

It would have been neat to have found a long lost never reprinted Usagi appearance....

Thanks for posting that Todd. I had never seen that before.
