Hey Stan! Do you know if there are any Usagi Yojimbo stories included in this upcoming hardcover from Dark Horse covering DH's first 20 years? It features an Usagi Yojombo on the front cover.

At 400 pages, this thing looks huge!

Alot of creator-owned characters are on the cover too.....

I think they are going to reprint the 4 page intro that gives an overview of Usagi. I think it was printed in The Brink of Life and Death trade.

Bump!

I bumped this old thread because it's coming soon and I'm wondering what else this Dark Horse collection book will feature from the 20 years of Dark Horse. Anyone know the contents of this one yet? It's 400 pages worth of Dark Horse stuff.

And did Usagi Yojimbo or Stan ever have any exclusive stories published in "Dark Horse Presents" 1-157?

Thanks!

The 1999 DHP Annual special included the UY story "A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Tournament" as well as the Groo story "Groo for Sale."

If you don't have it, you can get a NM copy for about $10 from Mile High Comics:

Has "A Funny Thing..." been reprinted anywhere else? Also, are there any B&W Groo stories other than "Groo for Sale?"

Book 14 (Demon Mask). How I first read it before acquiring the DHP99 comic.

I think "Groo for Sale" is the only original b&w story for Groo so far. "Groo for Sale" was recently colored in last year's release of the "Groo 25th Anniversary Special" too!

It would be cool to read the old Groo stories in both b&w especially with Sergio Aragones' pencil artwork. I'd buy the whole series again if they reprinted in b&w!
