The Comic Book Legel Defense Fund has a new Graphic Novel (More Fund Comics, shipping in September '03, 128 pgs. sc 7 X 10 b/w, $10.00) listed in the June Diamond Previews catalog which lists you as a contributor... Can you give a hint concerning what you donated? i.e. a sketch of Usagi or maybe something else instead? Thanks...

I did a one-page Usagi gag strip, much like the format I used for the one-page Oni Presents strip from a few years ago (that was reprinted in one of the trades).

The "Jumping Ninja" gag... That was a gas... I will definitely order the CBLDF book now... (pretty much planned on it anyways)

By the way, have you had a chance to read any of the mystery stories or novel by I. J. Parker yet? I've read "Rashamon Gate" and three of the short stories from the Alfred Hitchcock Mystery Magazine so far... pretty enjoyable stuff. I have also dug up six or eight of Ann Woodward's ("The Exile Way", "Of Death and Black Rivers") short stories published in the same magazine. Have you read any of them? They also feature Aoi, the main character from the books. If you are interested, I can pass on my copies of the magazines since they are difficult to come across...
