Mr. Sakai, how did you become a comic artist?
I know you were at first lettering, but at what point did you realize that this character was something you wanted to keep drawing? Was it difficult to convince publishers that you had a story to tell?
I love to draw for friends, but thats a far cry from the kind of consistently excellent stories and artwork you bring to Usagi. What do you draw when you aren't drawing Usagi?
