Part 3 of "Sumi-e" gets off to a fast start. A giant stone statue, formidible indeed! Sasuke's mystical abilities continue to be intriguing. Liked the shields he used against the giant. Hopefully we'll find out more about his background someday. Great piece of humor-SASUKE: "You distract it while I come up with something." USAGI: "Stop saying that!" Ha! "God Zylla" indeed! Cool battle between the creations. Jotaro as resourceful as always, leading Neneki away from the others. An interesting conclusion with the bandit, but it left me a bit disappointed-does this mean that we'll have a "Sumi-e" II at some time in the future? I suppose it sets up another guest star role for Sasuke in the future, but I would've preferred a more definite ending. And Neneki is still out there, too. What'll happen to him?

Checked out your NTurtles site. Looks like it's on the right track! Congratualtions! Though I am an avid Yojimbo nut, my first and foremost will always be turtles!
Thanks for the post!

This story had to have the ending it did to blend into its sequel, which was published many years ago in UY Color Special #2. The story, entitle Doors, will be reprinted, with minor revisions, in a future volume.

Ooh! Thanks for that heads up! Now I need to go digging in my comic boxes....

I enjoyed the story. Because I love doing calligraphy, this was fun--all those supernatural monsters! I just hope I never run across a cursed ink stick!

I'm also really enjoying the dynamics of having Usagi travelling with Jotaro.
