Will Stan be doing sketches in San Diego?

Post by ericthebeef »

Just wondering if Mr. Sakai will be doing any quick Usagi-san drawings that I can festoon my dojo wall with (when I say dojo I mean my bedroom).
Sorry if this has been addressed before,
I'm new to the board :)
Harry, I'm going to let you in on a little secret. Every day, once a day, give yourself a present. Don't plan it. Don't wait for it. Just let it happen. It could be a new shirt at the men's store, a catnap in your office chair, or two cups of good, hot black coffee.

Sorry, I stopped doing free sketches in the US after incidents such as this one:

What are the guidelines as far as commission art, Stan?

About a month before the event, I will start a thread in the Dojo News section "What should I bring to San Diego?" Dojo members can post or pm me if they want me to bring stuff, from that one Fantagraphics issue they are missing to a copy of Albedo #2. This will also be a good time to commission a drawing. It will be less frantic than asking for something at the con, and you will get a better drawing.

Stan just out of curiosity how much could a fan expect to pay for a copy of Albedo NR 2 if they purchased it from you? I remember reading that you own 10 copies yourself (from Steve G.). Do you still have the original 10 or have you sold some off?
