Usagi gets a shout-out on ABC Family's Middleman!

I absolutely love the program "The Middleman," which is chock-full of Pop Culture references.

Last night's episode (The Vampiric Puppet Lamentation) even featured a reference to Usagi! I put a clip up on YouTube for a fellow Usagi fan, and thought I'd share it with the Dojo.

Thank you for posting that and linking it for us.

I heard about it this morning when Steve Hubbell forwarded an e-mail from the Groo mailing list, but it is nice to actually see it. The Groop mail said Usagi was mentioned twice.

Yes, Usagi is mentioned a second time, but it's very much an echo of the first. The Middleman asks Wendy (the woman who mentioned Usagi in the video) a question, to which she responds "Does Usagi Yojimbo kick serious... Oh, never mind."

Later in the episode both Marv Wolfman and Gene Colan get mentioned by name for the their work on Tomb of Dracula!
