Quote Query

This may seem like an odd or inconsequential question, but I'm curious. Are there any quotes from Usagi that really stick with you for some reason? I ask because the one that really seems to stick in my head is: "Ho mangy villagers!"
I never really thought of it before, but after playing some RPGs with some friends I find many of them using this quote as well. (got it noted last night, hence my question) Anyway, I'm just curious if anyone has a similar quote or story, I know I often remember "Holy flying furball, it's bats man!", but I actually USE "Ho mangy villagers!" (as disturbing as that may seem) :D

Actually, the quote is said by Usagi himself. I'm sure that there were other times it was said, but I know for sure that it was said by Usagi in the story called "Village of Fear". I know that it's in an early Usagi. I have the first compiled book from around 1987 from my dad, in which it is chapter 6. There ya go! :D

From one of the early stories, it went something like "Leave now or you will not live to see the sunset" had to be one of my all time faves for some reason. In fact, that's the only one I can really think of at any given time without really having to concentrate.

"Eww, this is gross! Good thing I didn't step on it..."

This is not exactly a quote, but a gag that takes a whole page in "Gen's story" in UY book 7. One of my friends actually went through a similar situation, so when I read that gag I found myself crying of laughter remembering the face of my friend with that piece of unknown matter in his hand. We're still wondering what on earth was that thing, but probably we're not ready to know, nor we'll ever be.

Another favorite gag would be the reactions on Usagi's face in Sumi-e, when Sasuké tells him that the evil they're going after is an ink set. Those expressions are priceless.

I guess that's what Usagi says to the Shi gang.

He may have, but my quote came from way early in Lone Rabbit and Child I believe. Usagi said it to one of the hired swordsmen set out to get Lord Noriyuki I think... or was it one of the Neko Ninja...?

yeah, it was the Neko ninja all right. Tomoe and Noriyuki went ahead, while Usagi stayed behind to fight off the ninja. the quote was "let us pass, and you might live to see the sunset." my favorite quote is "YOU AND YOUR STUPID SHORT CUTS!" from the story "Hebi."

Mine is from 'The Gambler, The Widow and the Ronin', just after Usagi has killed Kedamono, where he says 'What fools we have in this world - to have mistaken honor as weakness.' So true.
