Other interpretations of Usagi

Post by RoninMerc »

I'm curious if any other professional comic writers/artists, besides Mr. Sakai have ever had a chance to publish Usagai Yojimbo stories. I don't think that anyone else could tell a better Usagi story than Mr. sakai but it would be interesting to see other interpretations of the character. I've seen Usagi pictures by other professional artists but haven't read a full Usagi story by another artist. I'm also not refering to cross-overs.

Both Peter Laird and Jim Lawson have published Usagi stories.

The Peter Laird story ("The Crossing") appeared in UY Vol 1 #10. The Jim Lawson story ("Revenge of the Tokage God") appeared in issue 20.
