I've been working awful hard to complete my Usagi Yojimbo TPB collection over the past year and I'm
happy to report that after ordering Book 9: Daisho, Book 14: Demon Mask and Book 15: Grasscutter II
online earlier today, that my TPB collection is completely up to date, and I can now forward to simply
picking up the newest trades as they become available!
I've still got tons of additional Usagi stuff to hunt down, to be sure, but I'm really glad to have
finally reached this milestone, at least!
Just thought I'd take a second to revel in that here at the Dojo!
A Personal Usagi TPB Milestone!

I saw that, and wish you the best of luck in the endeavor! It didn't take me nearly as long as I thought it would, and it looks like you're well on your way already! Just enjoy all the material you have so far and the time will fly by in no time.Ghost9 wrote:Very nice! Congratulations! I'm working on my way there as well, in fact.
Hey, and in case it's of any help, Stan has often recommended using Carolyn at Heritage Source Books, if you're trying to track down some of the more elusive TPB collections. I had been looking for Book 10: Brink of Life and Death for months and while they didn't have it in stock she took my information via e-mail. When it became available some weeks later she quickly notified me that they had a copy and that she'd hold it for me. I ordered over the phone and she was as nice as could be - must have mailed it the same day I spoke with her as I received it a day or two later much to my surprise. Just wanted to make sure you knew of the resource as a couple of the collections are buggers to track down.
All the best, and it's awesome you and your family are enjoying Usagi as much as you are!

Hey, thanks! I have noticed that Heritage Source is a great place to buy the elusive ones. I've been trying to buy as many as I can on amazon.com since their TPB's are discounted, and I can buy them with credit card reward points. However, they sell out very quickly. I noticed that Book 10 was difficult to find, but right before Christmas I found one on www.half.com for $10.99 + $4 shipping. I emailed the seller who said it wasn't a former library book and that he was the original owner. I bought it, and it's in perfect condition. Looks like it's never even been opened, let alone read.
Glad to see this great community of fans. You all have been incredibly nice and helpful. Seems fitting for fans of such a great story with good life lessons for young and old.
Thanks again & take care!
