Usagi Yojimbo DojoBoard

Just finished reading "Traitors of the Earth part 1," and I have to say that I haven't felt this strongly about an Usagi storyline since Grasscutter II. I am so thoroughly satiated to see the return of Sasuke, the Demon Queller, and I am utterly awed by the grand scale of the events depicted within. Mysterious, dark forces, a shadowy wizard, and an accomplice from the beyond -- this installment opened Usagi's world to a whole new level. We'd seen spirits and magic before (most notably with Jei), but it never seemed so intense and at the central focal point as it does now. I know this storyline is going to be huge, and I suspect that Usagi's world has just become a little more exciting and dangerous as well.

Okay, I'm rambling. Anyway, I LOVED this issue and just had to say so.

Incidentally, the release date on the website isn't for two more weeks and no one else has posted on this yet. Did my LCS somehow get my copy early or something? Has anyone else read this issue yet?

Agreed, UY #117 was a great issue (they all are, but you know what I mean)!

There was discussion on it, though it seemed to take place primarily in the Dojo News section.

I agree with you Shaxper. I felt the same way when I read issue 117. It made me think of the beginning of Grasscutter II. Which was my first Usagi comic btw.
