Manga-news is the most important website written in french that talks of manga.
I have been contacted recently by a redactor, that is a true fan and wanted to make a very complete article to promote Usagi, even if Usagi wasn't a manga but a comic (but in France it is published in a manga size).
The article is very good, and the redactor a really great guy. Manga-News has just published this article in first page as the recommandation of the week, and the article has been linked in several french comic blogs.
Here the article :

Looks like a very in-depth article, I will actual read it (a translated version at least) after work tonight. Thanks for the link.
Glad to hear from you, I assume you made it back home safe and sound after your trip to Orlando, Florida. I know I am waiting to hear all about your trip, and am hoping you had a good time (while not actually working).

I think you got the great rating because of the beret

They eat that up like Fromage.

I thank Fanfan for the beret. He gave it to me at WonderCon. He also gave a red one to Sharon, who looks great wearing it.

when I saw the photo I thought, "Hmm Mr. Sakai looks like Tezuka-sensai." BTW those are awesome statues you had with you, where they made of pewter or plastic?

You can read all about the statues on this thread
here
Definitely the LONGEST single thread in the history of the Usagi Yojimbo Dojo forum....
(18 pages of messages which contain 258 replies, and close to 8000 views, so far)
And pictures of statues of other characters which are being worked on which were not present when that photograph was taken.
