Being new to the Usagi comics, I may not have read the GN that may cover this, with that said I like to still ask. Mr. Sakai, do you feel that anytime in the future Usagi or cast will deal in any stories around the theater districts and theater culture of Japan, aka The Floating World? Now I know you would never go to much into what The Floating World is in the comic due to some of the questionable happenings there, but as a theater person (free lance costume and prop designer) and someone interested in Japanese Theater I just would find a story dealing with the theater culture interesting. Maybe you already have done one. Anyway I was just curious.

I recall a story (from the past few years IIRC) in which someone mentioned that Kabuki theater was the hot new thing at the time that the story was set, but I don't think any UY stories have ever explored these forms of Japanese theater in too much detail. It would probably be interesting to see one that did.
Have you ever seen the anime series Samurai Champloo? I think there was an episode that involved some form of Japanese theater, but I don't recall what it was right now.

Parts of it. I am not a fan of that series, it is odd i love Cowboy Bebop, but Samurai Champloo for some reason did not grab my attention. I will have to give it another try.
Still I think it be a cool story arc in the UY series. The Floating World always has carried an air of mysticism with it.
