Oni Press...

Don't take this the wrong way... I have no complaints with Dark Horse Comics in any way. They have and, I'm sure, they will continue to do a fantastic job of publishing and promoting Usagi Yojimbo...
Now that that is said, on to my comment...
I would love to see an issue (or more likely, a special) of Usagi Yojimbo published by Oni Press. Think about it... going just by name, the two should work together like peanut butter and jelly...
The fact that Miyamoto Usagi has already managed to sqeeze himself into a couple issues of Oni Press comics (Oni Double-Feature #11 and Nocturnals: Troll Bridge) proves that he can fit in there. Stan has also contributed a couple of non-Usagi stories and pin-ups there, so he is somewhat aquainted with the staff at Oni Press.
Usagi Yojimbo, much like Sergio Aragones' Groo, is a comic with a history of wandering from one publishing company to another. That is the great thing about collecting creater owned comics, the fact that they are not tied down to one publishing company. It has now been a few years since Usagi hopped over to Radio Comix for the two "Art of" specials. It is the time for a special issue of Usagi Yojimbo published with the Oni Press logo on the cover.
question for Stan... Just what is your relationship with the people at Oni Press? Was Oni ever concidered as a possible choice for publishing Usagi Yojimbo way back when Mirage discontinued their comic division?
Abayo,
Steve
