Usagi Yojimbo DojoBoard

I've never been into RPGs that much, but I've always found the whole "Chaotic Good," "Lawful Neutral," etc alignment thing from Dungeons & Dragons to be kind of interesting. This chart that someone made got me wondering about where UY characters would fit in this alignment system:

Here's my attempt at placing some UY characters within this system (dissenting opinions are welcomed):

Usagi: Lawful Good
Gen: Chaotic Good
Stray Dog: Neutral Good
Sasuke: Lawful Neutral
Inspector Ishida: Lawful Neutral
Jei: Neutral Evil
Lord Hikiji: Lawful Evil
Kitsune: Chaotic Neutral (probably with a shade of Chaotic Good)

I've never read the handbook for the UY roleplaying game. Does it place the characters into any kind of "alignment" system?

My guess:

Usagi: Lawful good
Gen: Chaotic good (bordering on Chaotic Neutral)
Tomoe: Lawful good
Chizu: Lawful neutral
Stray Dog: Neutral
Inazuma: Neutral
Inspector Ishida: Lawful good
Jei: Chaotic evil but thinks he's lawful good (!)
Kitsune: Chaotic good
Lord Hikiji: Lawful evil
Noriko: Neutral evil

Great idea for a topic!

I have a mostly-complete Usagi Yojimbo alignment chart in my head, I mainly just need someone to go into the "Chaotic Evil" slot (I see Jei as more "Neutral Evil"). If I find someone to go into that slot, I think I might make an alignment chart with a quote for each character to illustrate why they fit that slot. Here's what I have so far (some of the quotes are paraphrased a little):

Lawful Good: Usagi

Neutral Good: Stray Dog - "We all have to look out for each other."

Chaotic Good: Gen

Lawful Neutral: Sasuke

Neutral: The Woodcutters - "Samurai are strange. I'm glad we're just simple peasants."

Chaotic Neutral: Kitsune - "A girl has to do what she can to get by."

Lawful Evil: Lord Hikiji

Neutral Evil: Jei - "The frog asked the scorpion 'Why did you sting me?' The scorpion replied 'You knew what I was when you took me on your back.'"

Chaotic Evil: ?

I think the thing that got me thinking about this again was wondering if anyone had done an alignment chart for the tv series Breaking Bad (I couldn't find one. I sort of have one in my head, but I can't think of anyone to go into the "Chaotic Good" slot).

On the Usagi Yojimbo character page at http://www.tvtropes.org, they list Kitsune as Chaotic Good. Myself, I'd go with Chaotic Evil for Jei, given that he kills virtually everyone he meets.
