Hmmnnnn...this Kemono piece may very well be in the Tokyo museum (highly recommended). I just got back from Japan a few weeks ago, and while visiting the museum in Tokyo I either ran across this same Kemono art, or one very similar to it featuring an usagi warrior, and several other animals. Of course, I immediately thought of our long-eared friend and borrowed my wife's camera to take a picture of it.
If I can track it down as we organize all our photos I'll be sure to upload it to confirm. Hopefully I got some of the details of the art as well, as some are actually in English.

Nice print! I do like feudal japanese art! And it's such a COOL coincidence that the main character is a rabbit! Someone has got to send this pic to Sakai-sensei!
