Well, if you're set up with to watch Region 2 PAL(UK) encoded stuff, can read Chinese subtitles, or nihongo ga wakarimasu, hkflix.com has a pile of 'em. Apparently Videomatica has some as well, which should be Region 1 NTSC (if you just search "Lone Wolf" on this one, you'll also get a Chuck Norris movie; I leave it to your own impulses do declare this good or bad...).

{AN EDIT: Just had a closer look at hkflix-- Some of the ones there for the Korean market have English subtitles and NTSC encoding}

the March issue of Diamond Previews catalog list the Baby Cart series on DVD for release (I think) in May, probably earlier for other retail sources.

Another update: Apparently they're out now

Videomatica (above) has the first in the series, but of course you should be buying it from the local non-chain store run by a guy who does it mainly because he likes the stuff, like this guy in Regina

Yo' ; I actually found "Babycart at the River Styx" at a movie store here today!!! I have the "bastardized" american version "Shogun Assassin" on video and to actually get the official japanese version is so cool!!! And in Widescreen on DVD!!! Way COOL!!!! I can't wait to get my hands on the rest of them!!! I really enjoyed this flick!! As you can see,my avatar is Yagi of the "Lone goat and Kid". Sakai-sensei's omage to Lone Wolf. I really dig this premiss and have several of the comics of Lone Wolf and Cub. As a result of finding this flick today, I've decided to write a "Lone Goat and Kid" solo adventure. I want to explore these characters further and see where they take me. Just for the sheer fun of it! Well... I'll sign off for now. Abayo!!!!
