Usagi Yojimbo DojoBoard

Hello:

I figured I should give credit where credit is due and post here. I used the information on the wonderful Dojo website to help with the references and documentaion for a cosplay character.

This past weekend, I attended the Middle Tennessee Anime Convention here in Nashville, and I entered the Cosplay competition as a character from Usagi. I portrayed the Courtesan, Lady Maple; her story is told in Usagi Yojimbo #28-29. I won an award for Best Journeyman Recreation!

So... conical, and exposed, unadorned nape of neck... <Homer Simpson gargling noise of lust>. I thought this was a FAMILY site!

All kidding aside, jolly good job on the costume. I thought putting on a pile of armour on the weekends was an energetic endeavour, but that's a massy bunch of kimono to wear with tall geta. And no walking-assistants in sight, either!

Iwas in compatition for some, but notrecived any pics from them- but Iv done Sailor Murcury, a lady From Iron town (princess Moninokee), Lain, Cardcapture Sakura, and a cuple off the wall olriginals. I will gladly post my cosplay up- when I am done with my Usagi yojimbo Costume for this years con I will outthem up as well- I think it would be more wise too ^^ - but thanks for takeing notic! I hope you will come hear a lot more often!
