The four Yahoo groups all require membership but joining is free, easy, and relatively quick.

The Usagi Yojimbo Group is pretty obvious.
The Chanbara group covers samurai films.
The Toshiro Mifune group covers Toshiro Mifune (obviously).
The Lone Wolf and Cub group covers both the films and comic versions of Lone Wolf and Cub as well as the new Lone Wolf and Cub series being published in Japan currantly. It also strays onto other work by koike and Kojima (i.e. Samurai Executioner).

Yo'; I tried the Lone Wolf link you suggested and my 'puter says it don't exist! Are you sure about this one?? Is a puzzlement!

I just cut and pasted the address from the original message above into the address box and it worked ok... not sure why you might have had a problem with it saying it did not exist. The Yahoo page for it is "down" or unavailable sometimes. I am also not sure why the links are not active on the message I originally posted...

It's not hugely informative about his movies, but the biography is interesting (he seems rather tall for the Air Force) and the opening animation is delightful.
