Sasuki story in the next CBLDF anthology

I finished a 4-pager for the Legal Defense Fund's annual anthology. I had planned to do an Usagi story, but what I plotted just did not fit the character. Rather than force the story, I changed the character. This is Sasuke the Demon Queller's first time solo.

Pencils, roughed with a 2H 3mm mechanical pencil then finished with HB 5mm.

Lettering with Aames Lettering Guide and Rotring Art Pen medium nib. Balloons are inked with a Koh-i-noor Art Pen, and panel border with a 3.5 technical pen.

Inked with a Rotring Art Pen, with a older nib.

It looked like it need some background, so roughed it in with a HB 5 mm mechanical pencil.

Backgrounds and details inked, and finished.

Excellent news! Sasuke is such a strong character and well-deserving of his own stories. Looking forward to this, Stan.

Here is the first page for my Sasuke the Demon Queller short for the Legal Defense Fund annual anthology. Good buddy Tom Luth will do the coloring. I am spending the weekend doing the cover for The Usagi Yojimbo Saga Book 2.

You can sense trouble already :P

Will the anthology be distributed by Diamond as usual, and thus my comic store can easily get it in?

Picked this up today, and it's a full-color winner.
It's a very brief four-page story, but it perfectly sums up the plight and determination of our favorite demon queller. Great work Stan. Hoping to see more of this character when the regular series returns.

I'm just bumping this thread to remind my future self to look at LCBS or eBay to get this issue. I must have missed this back in 2014.

Peace, maka

I just got a copy on EBay for a couple bucks and it was definitely worth it. I think this is being included in the upcoming Saga Legends collection also.

Oh, if it is included in the UY Saga Legends, I don't need to buy the individual issue. Thanks for the information. Peace, maka
