Hmmm, I don't think UY has ever actually had any "bandit racoons" but I would definitely go see this if I were in London (which I am not).

Very cool. What media is left for Usagi to be translated into? :) Peace, maka

Here is another link concerning the play which I posted on Facebook a little bit ago.....

Mayhem, if you do go to the play, see if you can get some photos of the sets and costumes and such. They might even let you take some photos during the actual play if you let them know you are an administrator of the Usagi Yojimbo Dojo Forum and a personal friend of Stan's..... Maybe you could even attempt to reach out to them ahead of time and get some exclusive pictures and other tidbits from a rehearsal....

:D

Yeah, I was going to book myself a ticket when I get back from the US, but that's not a bad idea to see if I can get some background info or coverage for the production in advance or during the run. Just so you guys can see how it looks.

thanks for the heads-up, Mayhem...
tickets are booked for early December, so there's a nice wee trip to London to look forward to!

I contacted Katie at the Playhouse, but did not get a definitive answer if Mayhem is able to see the set or rehearsals. She did say she was in contact if (I think FaceBook) Dojo administrators. Steve, perhaps?

I was sent a couple messages through the UY Dojo Facebook page asking if I could post a link to the Playhouse's web-site and for an email address for "liaise" :)

Also, from the info on their web-site, it looks like they might still be in the casting stage....

Hi

Thanks for all your help so far! It’s much appreciated that you’re spreading the word to Usagi fans.

I’ve added you to our distribution list so you get all news about the show straight away.

I’ll also send you pictures, news and videos as I have it.

Will you be in the UK during the show’s run at all?

Best,
Katie

Well, Mayhem, being the UK Daimyo should be worth a bit....
would be pretty cool if you were able to get a behind-the stage look at the play... and maybe some pictures for us as well
