The Usagi Yojimbo Saga

With this book out today, I thought it merited a thread of its own. Picked up the HC today (#74) and think it is a great looking book. Very much looking forward to revisiting the stories.
Plus, it has the added bonus of one of my favourite pages in comicdom!
Bring on the further books in the Saga format.

Picked up my copy at the local comic shop - #337 (out of 900)
Also grabbed a copy of the paperback edition as well.
And who are you calling obsessive?

Amazon is still showing a release date of Oct 28, so mine hasn't shipped yet.

Hopefully my local place will get a copy in given they ordered at least one, I'm fairly sure I'll be getting it if they do.

Saga is a beautiful book. I read the intros and the first few pages. It is fun to re-read these in a bigger format, nicer paper (at least much newer compared to my well read trade paperbacks), and in black and white. I loved the page where Gen and Usagi jump off the mountain and into the river.

Amazon used to have the hardcover for sale, but now it doesn't. Anyone know what's going on? Have a link for the book for sale???

amazon is telling me to expect a November 10 delivery. I'm in Australia. I really hope they don't send me one of those "Unfortunately we were not able to fulfil your order" emails, given that the HC is no longer listed on the site.

Of course it can be found on Ebay for retail or more.
The online shop I usually buy my books from is already sold out. Crazy!
I wonder if Stan received a bunch of Artist Proofs?

could be worse?
I'm *still* getting "there has been a delay..." emails from amazon for red scorpion (yeah, I've got a copy, but a friend's also after one, so I've not cancelled this)
I think I placed 4 pre-orders for this all in? forbidden planet (.co.uk) emailed me back in august to say they would not be able to fulfill it, so I've also ordered it through fp.com, as well as amazon (.co.uk & .com!)
oh, and I've asked my local comic shop as well...

Hmmm, I hope the copy I pre-ordered from Amazon back in June still ships. I thought I'd be safe by putting in a pre-order almost 4 months early.

Just got my shipping notice from Amazon, so it looks like they managed to come through for me after all!
