Usagi Yojimbo DojoBoard

hello everyone,
I am wishing everyone on the dojo and their loved ones great joy and health and togetherness for the comming new year!
'ein glückliches Neues!' is how we express ourselves here in Germany (at least in the southern part of it) and this is what I extent to all of you here.I know there is a place where I can always find very sweat people to talk to and the greatest part of it all is we all share our love for comics and especially our appreciation and love for one very special 30 years and going stronger than ever comic series usagi yojimbo!!;)
dear stan,I am wishing you much love for this new year.feel free to talk to us about anything you ever need to get off your chest!we are here.(where else would we be;)..this is the place usagi)

I am looking forward to usagi 's second return to comics once his normal timeline is approached again;)cannot wait to meet the neko ninja again..I think (senso excluded for a moment) we haven't seen any progression in chizu's story, have we?the last time we have seen her in my memory was when she was tricked by kagemaru and escaped lord hebi's castle..
boy, what a great story that was!one chizu against the odds!

by the way, with the second day of christmas we have been blessed with snow for the first time in a row of years.and not juts a mere few beautiful flakes either, it had not stopped snowing until today and outside there are 40 cm of fresh snow and it is absolutelly magnifiscent looking outside!

My German is not so good these days even though I was born there.
My hometown is Schwabach (close to Nürnberg).
It has been too many years since I have visited my homeland, but I hope to return one day.
But here I am, a German living in America, and married to a lovely Japanese wife.
Life is wonderful!

So for my Japanese friends, including Usagi.... 明けましておめでとうございます ! ~ you say it Akemashite omedetōgozaimasu!

hey maichan, then we are neighbours in some way;)I live in munich which is not far from nürnberg either;)

by the way the comic publisher schwarzer turm once released several usagi collections in german.they are not too easy to get by I guess but if you do, they are beautiful(I once sought out one and gave it to my father as a christmas gift so that he and I can share something).they used stans lettering, memorized it digitally and gave the book thusly a stans lettering lookalike in german;)

The new year... good wishes to all... hopefully it will be a better year than 2014 for many of us...

I have an uncle that lives in Munich. If I ever visit, I'll let you know!

This was my first year as a participating member of the dojo (I signed up the year before just to read) and I just wanted to say thanks to everyone for the warm welcome and I look forward to many more years of participating here!
