Long Beach Expo--what to bring

Post by Stan Sakai »

I may not have time for commissions, but can bring stuff.

I will have a Spotlight panel on Saturday, and a Dark Horse and Scholastic panels and a signing on Sunday. Otherwise, I will be at my booth.

A new thing I just got is a French sketchbook/tribute book. It is pretty thin and in the smaller manga-size format as the French Usagi volumes. I also have the cover of the Sakai Project prints, and Star Wars variant covers.

Dear Stan,

I would be interested in the French sketchbook/tribute book. If you can find any UY character finger puppet promos, I would like some. Do you have any more Usagi Chop pins or are all those gone?

I'll be there on Sunday. Look forward to it and seeing you again.

Peace, maka

Sensei,

I am planning on attending Saturday.

I would be interested in the French sketchbook, and the finger puppets, as well as both the Star Wars variant covers.

Will you be doing quick sketches? If so, I may ask for one (or two), to complete my 'seasons' theme of quick sketches.

I would love one of the French sketchbooks if possible, and if I can make some arrangements with Maka to pick it up for me. :D

This isn't the same tribute book that Paquet put out 5 or 6 years ago when they released their 22nd Usagi digest?

I still have not found one of those.

Yes, this is the Paquet tribute book. I had not seen it before either. I just got a few last week.

That sounds like a bandwagon being joined here heh. If someone can pick me a French tribute book and a set of the finger puppets (if you find some sets to bring Stan), I'd appreciate that :)

I can pick up something for you as long as Stan has enough to go around.

I have got 30 or those French tribute books. I will bring 15 to Long Beach. About 75% of it is reprint material by me--misc drawings, mostly--and the rest is tributes by French artists, and a couple of articles in French. It is about 60 pages for $15.
