I like the idea that sensei is doing a penauts comic.where will this appear in?a dark horse presents title perhaps?
also, I have to re-affirm my excitement for sensei's great beard here!;) I am loving it!
Stan mentioned that the Peanuts story was for a coffee table book that the Schultz folks asked him to contribute (So Dark Horse will not be publishing this). What I saw was pencils of the story. I really liked the story and Stan's drawings. I don't want to spoil it so I won't say any more. :)

Peace, ️Maka

Looks like this comes out this week. I'll have to pick up a copy. I'm excited to read Stan's story in the world of one of the all-time best comic strips.

This is the 65th anniversary of Charles Schulz's Peanuts and Boom Studios is coming out with a nice coffee table hardcover art book with contributions from more than 40 artists, including myself with a story about Charlie Brown getting lost in Tokyo. It hits the comic book stores this week, and regular book stores next week (I think).

You know, we saw the preview for the story quite a while back, and I completely overlooked it says "Sakai and Fujii" in the credits. Should have been a tip-off to the wonderful future ;)

Stan, it's cool that Julie and you collaborated on this piece together. Collaborating with other artists on a cartoon doesn't happen very often. Her style matches very well with yours (assuming she is the one who drew the Japanese girl) and I didn't notice any difference in style when you showed me the pencils at LBCC. I look forward to getting this and having both Julie and you sign it. :)

Peace, maka

I've purchased several times from them as well. It's mostly good, but lately, I got several books which were sligthly damaged. They sent new replacement copies , but even these were not in what I would call "mint" condition.
Still, most books arrive in much better condition than from Amazon.
