Usagi Yojimbo DojoBoard

Hey guys,

I'm realatively new to RPGs. All I have is the fantastic Zombies!!! by Twilight Creations.

How does the Usagi game work?

What are your goals, how's it played and is it simple to play?

Also is there a game box. One with minatures, rules, tiles, etc.

And where can I get the gear from.

The UY RPG is a great game to start learning more about RPGs.
The main Role Play book has everything you need to get started. You don't need tons of dice, miniatures, or anything fancy to begin. Obviously it does help if you know the world of UY well to make up the stories.
It's a very easy system to read through and learn, especially compared to most of the other major game systems out there.

I got to play it once with some area UYers, we had a good time.

The company also produced some other Japanese-based games with more complexity that you can use to increase your UY campaign if you want. You just change the humans to various character types in UY.
