Usagi's first stories were in "anthologies" comics. Are there any comics like this around anymore? It seems like a good place for someone to get their start. I know there is "Furrloughs" but other than that I'm not aware of any.

Albedo, I've heard, is back again... I don't know if it is still an anthology...

Please let me know if you hear any more specifics. I submitted a piece to "Furrloughs". We'll see how it goes.

Thanks for the compliment.

"Furrloughs" is an anthropomorphic comic. The interior pages are done by different artist each issue. It is published by Radio Comix. I like the idea of the anthology comics because it gives the companies a chance to give someone a try without taking the chance on giving them a whole magazine of their own. It also gives the artist a chance to write a 5 or 6 page story and not have to make a 32 page story for a "maybe".
