In The Shrouded Moon Usagi Yojimbo volume there is this Samurai called Shizukiri who appears near the end of the story on a horse with the town and the two gangs. They make him seem insanely strong and I was wondering if he appears anywhere else or is there any other information on him?

That is the only time he appears, or is referenced to. I have a couple of other stories concerning him in the works. He'll become a major character soon.

Thank you very much for your reply. There are also some other samurai like Shizukiri wandering around in Usagi's world who have only been introduced and not have had a story associated with them yet. Another I just found is the owl samurai who has a basket (is that a polite term ) on his head because he can see death in people's eyes. He tells Usagi that one day they will meet again in battle. Does anyone else know if he appears in another issue? Again he seems to be very strong .

I did a search for Shizukiri and found these threads. Stan's comments made me think.

Originally posted in August 2004. Its not August 2006. Stan, you really plan ahead! Two years! Wow sir. You must be incredibly organized.

I don't know how he does it. There must be a UY "master plan" somewhere in his basement, locked up and guarded by ninjas. What I wouldn't give to read it....
