Got to meet Jae Lee today, picked up a couple of commission pieces from him. This one is of Usagi I asked him to do, I think he nailed it, just beautiful.

Thanks Maka, I think it is my favorite piece from yesterdays haul, I love it. When Jae was drawing it, I was like what is this going to be, I really didnt understand it, it had 2 usasgi heads, arms all over, i thought Usagi had stabbed himself in the head, but then he started to ink and erase lines. I just stood in amazement as it came alive. WOW, he is a very talented artist. Im happy to have this piece.

Hey Stan, I would like to see that someday. His interpretation of Usagi is great. I was really surprised. Plus his detail in the sword blade is amazing. But the part that I like is the pupil of his eye. Just that light shade of grey looking back, like he is coming from some fight. Truly amazing. Jae mentioned that you had drawn a dog for his wife.
