They are amazing! :D The art is so great!

I loved seeing the kame in Shades of death. I like how they were drawn how Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird originally drew them.... Not the cartoony versions.

I have seen the two Usagi episodes of the old Ninja Turtle show. The voice was not exactly "right" (for example his weak 'hiyah - ahh" war cry instead of RYAAAA). It is strange how weak Usagi appeared to be on the show. I never imagined a great warrior like Usagi to whimper like a little girl

I Definitely prefer this version of the turtles over the rubbery, barney-esque look they had on the show.

I hope the voice of Usagi on the new Ninja Turtle show will be better..... I also hope they don't make him seem like a weak, innocent alien from another dimension :)

P.S To Mr. Sakai:

I liked the little drawing you did on one of the introductions of an issue of Billy Tucci's "shi: way of the warrior".

Usagi is right up there, fighting along with the other Turtles. In fact, he duels Leonardo in the games, though I won't give away who wins.

I enjoy Billy's Shi. I'm glad Dark Horse is picking it up.

Eastman and Laird's splash covers and pin-ups of the Turtles from the early days rocked! Probably some of the best art and group poses ever conceived in the comic medium. That one on the 1st Comics graphic novel ranks up there with my faves, the covers for TMNT Vol. 1 #1-9 (including the reprints) and the art from the laser-scanned dustjacket on the Lim. Ed. HC. bitchen!
