Complete Grasscutter
Yes, IDW will be printing Grasscutters 1&2 in a single oversized edition. It will not be in the Artist Edition format, but in a slipcased hardcover. As in the case of the AE, though, the art will be scanned from the black & white originals in color so you can see all the imperfections, white outs, etc.
Also, Walter Simonson and I will be the guests at the IDW VIP dinner at Comic-Con. I don’t know the details of this yet.

This is great. I can't wait to get the book. I love the artist edition books. I have the 2 Usagi artist edition books plus the one Rosa Uncle Scrooge (first half of His Life and Times).
Will be interesting to read Grasscutter from the scanned original art.

Re: Complete Grasscutter
That sounds like a nice edition. With all these great books and the upcoming color reimaginings, I think I'm going to need another bookcase to hold all my Usagi (okay, I already need another bookcase anyway
).

Re: Complete Grasscutter
I will definitely be ordering this. I bet the slipcased hardcover will look great.
Re: Complete Grasscutter
That slipcase/book design looks amazing! Can't wait to get my hands on this in a few months. Will there be editions with original artwork or anything else special like the other IDW Artist Select releases?

And the amazing news just keeps on coming
Looking forward to this for sure!
Glad this was announced last night and not today or I might have thought it was an April fools day prank

Re: Complete Grasscutter
The Complete Grasscutter will run more than 460 pages, including the cover gallery, story notes, and other extras. They will all be signed. There will also be an Edition with an original drawing and one for the VIP dinner.
However, the story will be the same, so don’t expect any new twists when you read it.
