im a bit confused, since there is a shogun in usagi's time, it must be after the sengoku period, but would it be early afterwards, like is the shogun in usagi's time like ieyasu tokugawas reign as first shogun, or a bit after, and does it have any relevence to actuall clans, like if hikiji is like the oda clan, but he cant represent nobunaga...well i have no idea where im goin with this, im just wondering, if anyone can tell me what the time period is like.

It is currently the fall of 1605. The first of the (Tokugawa) Shogun has abdicated in favor of his son (see Grasscutter 1).

There is an excellent chronology as one of the appendixes in the UY Role Playing game.
