Hallowe'en Comicfest
From the same group presumably that do FCBD... just a heads up, as there is an Usagi variant available! Don't know what issue it will be re-printing though, or something brand new.

Looks like the Usagi book will be a mini comic, and,Mayhem wrote:From the same group presumably that do FCBD... just a heads up, as there is an Usagi variant available! Don't know what issue it will be re-printing though, or something brand new.

...or the perfect item for a certain Dojo......the Mini Comics also available for purchase in packs of 25 for $4.99 at the beginning of October—a perfect item to give to trick-or-treaters on Halloween.

Re: Hallowe'en Comicfest
I did not realize it would be announced so soon.
It will reprint, in color, a previous horror-type story appropriate for Halloween, though keeping in mind it will be for all ages.
Julie will also provide a new Chiba-Usagi short.

Nifty. I love when I can have at least one issue to really look forward to during these free comic book days.

Re: Hallowe'en Comicfest
This sounds cool. Any chance of including the trick-or-treat story from the Nocturnals book?

Re: Hallowe'en Comicfest
Hey gang, this is coming up soon, and it looks like the reprint will be the early FB story "Zylla," in color for the first time:

So, are these in stores on 10/26 only? Hope to snag one. Maybe more to use for trick or treaters, if they have these multipacks available.

Re: Hallowe'en Comicfest
This one totally slid under my radar. I don't recall seeing this post. I should've ordered a 25-pack.

Re: Hallowe'en Comicfest
I didn't order any of these. Wish I did. Last year I order about 3 set of The Tick, Archie, and maybe Sonic. But my LCBS didn't order them for me. So the kids in my neighborhood got candy again. I did put out some free comic book day floppies (no walking dead
).
Peace, maka

Re: Hallowe'en Comicfest
With my recent change in comic shops, I'm not sure if I'll see this. Time for a Panic Attack!

Re: Hallowe'en Comicfest
If you can't find them at a local shop you could always go the eBay route. Quite expensive with shipping IMO.

Yeah can't imagine it's going to be that hard to get hold of.

Re: Hallowe'en Comicfest
I assume we will be getting at least a few copies where we can make some available to Dojo members.
Re: Hallowe'en Comicfest
Looks like my shop got two bags of Usagi.

Re: Hallowe'en Comicfest
My local shop told me they tried to order some of the Hallowe'en Comicfest items but Diamond told them they didn't qualify to order them (despite being a decent sized shop). Also, even though the release date isn't until 10/26, apparently orders had to be in by July something (I had gone in today to see if I could order a pack since it was before the usual 2-weeks ahead cutoff for pre-orders). Since they are so cheap, I was going to buy a pack to make sure the Dojo had enough. Oh well, I tried.

Re: Hallowe'en Comicfest
My shop didn't get ANY Usagi books at all this week.
I asked about the Halloween book, and he said he expects them, but not sure when and I should check back next week. If he has bundles I will buy as many as allowable.
