Picked it up yesterday. Great issue. Really loving these creepy puppets. Who's real in this story?!
Colors were especially nice in this one. I like how Luth is handling night scenes and the breaking dawn skies.

Excellent issue! I think color really kicked this up a notch as well. Great story! Super creepy and I am really hoping Sasuke sticks around for a while like Ishida did for a couple arcs. He is such a great character. Can't wait to see how it ends next month.

Got my copy yesterday too along with the fifth volume of the manga adaptation of The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess.

Just to note, apparently getting a reprint due to many issues being damaged...

I picked up issue 2 yesterday. I missed this quote in my first reading. But Trevis and you mentioned it so I went back and looked for it. That was really funny!
I like the colors as well. I'm glad they are reprinting it but I've spent so much money on Usagi this past two months with all the varients, extra copies of book 33, Doju products, a commission, etc. I might just pass. But I might change my mind once August comes around.
Peace, maka

Is this the damage people are talking about?
Mine is fairly minor, and not very noticeable unless the light and angle are just right.

Seems we can add an issue 2 variant to the list.
The originals will have a dark blue IDW logo in the upper left and the reprints will have a light blue IDW logo in the upper left.

I noticed that too. Still getting used to all color all the time, but the night scenes really impressed.

Made me wonder if that attitude was a cultural thing indicative of the times in Japan or if Usagi simply thinks kids are creepy?
Not sure. Someone ask Stan at SDCC!

It's more of a parent thing than a cultural thing. As a parent, I can tell you - kids are creepy.

(I didn't really say that

)
