Re: comicbook.com "Golden Issue Award"
I have to admit that I was unaware of this award, but am very happy I received it.
It is very gratifying that even after 36 years, my work on Usagi is still being recognized with awards and honors.
Thank you all for your support and encouragement!

Now the question is, will Stan get a nifty trophy, like the one pictured (a comic book on a pedestal) or is this award entirely "electronic?"

Oh my! You have come up with a very reasonable question. While the Golden Issue Award may be a legitimate award (although I'm not familiar with it, and don't know how long it's been around), I would at least think that an award with actual physical awards (trophies), would notify recipients of their nomination in the first place, and the fact that they won in the second place. I guess time will tell if Stan receives a physical award, or simply a virtual award. Either way, it's nice to see Stan being recognized for his work!Shadowfax wrote:Now the question is, will Stan get a nifty trophy, like the one pictured (a comic book on a pedestal) or is this award entirely "electronic?"
