If you are still looking for a copy of Usagi Yojimbo 20 you can get 1 from IDW for $3.99 + $5.95 S/H. I went ahead and ordered one just in case my order from Maine gets cancelled.

Well...That was quick. They sold out in 20 minutes and I haven't gotten a confirmation yet.
If I knew this was going to be such a pain to find I would have preordered a boatload of them from DCBS to share with the UY! Group.

Lucky for me, my LCBS is good at fulfilling my pull list, and I got both retail covers.

Jon J Murakami announced on Facebook that some of his art was in this issue, and it just so happened this was a piece I received from him late last year. I had purchased 2 sketches from Jon, but they went MIA, so he replaced those two and he included an extra, which happens to be this Usagi and the Great Wave piece.

Then I received another nice little surprise (first hinted to me by Danny Segura) with my name appearing in the back of the issue in regards to the great Pineapple mystery!

That piece of art is cool. I always get him confused with Danny Segura. Don't know why.

Also, my order went through. Phew!!!
Since Usagi is the only comic I collect on a regular basis I can't get on a pull list so I'm always at the mercy of the comic shops in my area.

My lcbs had the variant in my pull but not the regular cover. However, they never intentionally miss things in my pull so I sent the owner an email asking if I can still get the comic for cover price. The variant was $40, which is a lot. My store doesn’t buy the retail incentive number of issues so they must have to buy it from a secondary market. I still appreciate them for making the effort for me. And they always get the limited edition hardcovers for me. Peace, maka
Edit: I email the owner and he wrote back, “ We were shorted all or our copies. They should be replaced and filled by Diamond soon.” So I should be good.
