Wanted: Interview questions for Stan Sakai

Post by Steve Hubbell »

I am asking for questions that can be sent to Stan Sakai for inclusion in the Usagi Yojimbo Dojo 25th Anniversary Special.

I would prefer questions that concern Stan Sakai's relationship with the Usagi Yojimbo Dojo and / or Dojo members.

I would prefer that the questions are sent by PM to me rather than posted as replies to this post. Not only does that keep the questions secret, it also indicates which questions might be more popular by how many people suggest the same question.

I do not know how many Stan will actually have time to answer, but I am hoping for at least a good dozen unique questions to send him.

Thank you....

Steve

The original idea was to have Todd interview Stan for the 25th Anniversary Special, but that didn't worked out. Since the idea of getting some other dojo members to throw out some questions isn't working, the plan to include an interview in this project has just been dumped....

Working on the Usagi Yojimbo 35th Anniversary Tribute book, every person who offered to contribute came through. Really wish I could say the same for this project.....

Bummer, Steve. Sorry I didn’t submit any questions.

So are you saying that contributing fans haven’t been meeting deadlines for this dojo project this time? Is there anything we can do to help?

Peace, maka

Sorry, work and life has been barmy, haven't had the time to put anything together sadly. Various factors including serious illness for daughter. Annoyed at myself for not being able to arrange time.

Mayhem, sorry to hear about your daughter’s serious illness. I know you know this already, but that alone will take up all your time, as it should. I hope treatment and recovery are possible and will come soon. Take care of yourself. It is hard being a father, I know. :)

Peace, maka

I am sorry Steve, it has been crazy in the hospital this past year and currently there has been an uptick in COVID cases so I have been pulling longer stretches in the hospital.

Sorry I haven't been any help in this endeavor. Honestly I'm just drawing a blanks on any questions to ask pertaining to Stan's relations to the Dojo, or it's members.

I can’t even follow instructions, I sent Steve a list of questions about Chibi Usagi and the TV show. Doh!

Much better now, thank you, it was a two week period of her being very coughy, mucusy, tired, not sleeping much due to coughing, vomiting due to the mucus etc... she was born premature via emergency caesarian and we've found any illness that affects the lungs and throat seems to hit her a bit harder than the average kid.
