Could be they are simply on the UYD Newsletter or Email Discussion Lists and not DojoBoard members.

As of thursday afternoon, the raffle is now out of my hands. I just mailed a small box with all the entries (raffle number, name, email address, location) on small confetti like strips of card stock to Stan Sakai. He should receive the package within a week or so. It is planned to have Stan open the box and withdraw the winning names and numbers for the first and second place prizes. It is also planned to have this process recorded on video which Todd will hopefully be able to upload to the Dojo web-site.

Is it just a random draw? If so why did we have to answer questions?

The questions were asked to prove membership in the UY Dojo and also to dissuade non-Usagi fans from entering. The last thing we want is for someone to win and turnaround to sell the statue/poster on eBay!

Three prizes, too cool

Post by Maka »

You all at UY dojo are too cool.

While only three will win these amazing prizes, the real winner is us, the fans. We are winners because of this UY Dojo! Thanks to Todd, Steve, Mr. Sakai, and all those involved behind the scenes to make this happen.

Peace,

maka

Thanks really should go to Roel, Steve, and Stan for making this happen. Roel for donating an ultra-cool (and extremely valuable) Usagi statue, Stan for donating prizes and participating in the raffle around his busy schedule, and Steve for coordinating everything and coming up with the idea in the first place.

Good luck everyone! You won't have any competition from me.
But it's not because I thought this was a bad contest. It's a great one!

I have been working every day for...a while. I had 3 days work off in January. And leaving work after too many 12-16 hour days. Suddenly it became Feb...and I realized...too late.
I hope this won't be the last contest!!
Thank you for doing it!

Indeed! I too did not enter. I wanted to give other Dojo members a chance to win some really cool Usagi items. Good luck to all that enter.

I had some similar feelings and did not enter.

I know there are much bigger fans than I who have really supported this title and Stan's work and so would cherish the prizes as well as a few newer fans who would really be excited by winning into becoming longer term fans.
