Unfortunately, the colors in the preview are really washed out. The art is too big for my scanner, so I photographed them on an overcast day.

I guess you're having a lot of fun coloring all these yokai, Sensei; and I'm sure we'll have even more fun reading the whole story; it looks very exciting judging from the previews...

Is that watercolor with airbrushing as well? Just curious. Do you apply color before you do the final inking? or somehow after?

That is water color, no airbrushing. The pencils are inked, then the paints are applied.
