Travel Planners

Post by Stan Sakai »

There have been a few complaints from people who booked their Comic-con room through Travel Planners of unauthorized charges on their credit card bill. These range from small charges to airline ticket to a hotel room in Dubai. TP deny their system has been compromised. However, check your credit card bill.

I am so glad I am not using them. How can they deny any responsibility?

Interesting... Not going to SDCC this year, so I didn't have to deal with Travel Planners...

However, the same credit card I used to book last years SDCC trip through T.P. got compromised within month after the SDCC '09 hotel stampede this February... And the charging pattern is similar.

Hmmm... oddly enough my credit card (used for TP) was flagged for something in April and had to be replaced (causing me to have to ring up TP and get them to revise my details). No malicious charges were registered but my provider didn't go into any more details. I don't think it was TP, but a different website that had a reported issue around the same time...
