Sheesh! I still haven't reposted all the images from when image shack did something similar a couple years ago.Mayhem wrote:I imagine Steve is going to have to rehost quite a lot of photos (Flickr?) because of the new Photobucket third party restrictions

Re: Escapade in Japan part 2
Imageshack, Photobucket, Imgur, they all have anti third party linking policies now. Guess the bandwidth is sucking them down after all this time. Hence the suggestion for Flickr, the UI is a bit clunky, but free accounts get 1TB of uploads and no issues with third party linking anywhere (yet!)...

Photobucket pictures are back! At least for now. They have a new CEO that's trying to reverse the damage they did, at least to a point. Right now, the 3rd party hosting is working for free users, but they are going to be utilizing a paid structure, though for way cheaper than before ($2.49/month for 2GB and 3rd party hosting, though they have an introductory offer for $1.99/month for 10GB). For the time being, enjoy having your Photobucket pictures again!

Whoa.... this is news. I have had a paid membership for years, but refused to go with the new rates they were pushing. Where'd you hear this? Email? I've been ignoring their emails lately. I wonder how this will affect my membership?jabba359 wrote:Photobucket pictures are back! At least for now. They have a new CEO that's trying to reverse the damage they did, at least to a point.
