Letters! We need letters!
I guess one of the drawbacks of frequenting the various message boards is a drop off of letters to the comic.
Asst Editor Katie said we only had two letters from the last issue, hardly enough to fill a letters page. If you feel up to it, write a letter of comment, or send in a b/w drawing (we still run those when we can).
Thank you.

Can we request or recommend someone else's piece of art (if they consent?) to be reproduced in the letter column? I think Amy's piece "After the Battle" sure would look nice featured in the letter column.

I was about to recommend the same thing. Some of the fan art on the Dojo is superb and more than worthy of the UY comic.
Stan, I have tried for the past two years to get our SDCC pics printed in the UY comic, but to no avail...maybe you could make sure it happens this year! They're telling me the images are not printable in the comic due to the resolution, which needs to be 300 DPI....however, the previous SDCC photos that were printed in the comic were always sent in the same format and resolution...what gives???? In any case, Glenn-san will be there again with his camera on 300 dpi mode...no excuses this time!!
Maybe it's time I sent in a LoC... I remember I used to get them printed in almost every issue (Fantagraphics and Mirage runs) and a few in the early DHC days...ah the memories of teenhood...

If I post something here Stan, would you be able to use it as a letter in the comic? Seems the easiest way for me to communicate rather than send an actual physical letter from England to the US
Still, I'm sure I can think of something to comment or ask about...

Instead of posting it here, it would be better to e-mail it to:Mayhem wrote:If I post something here Stan, would you be able to use it as a letter in the comic? Seems the easiest way for me to communicate rather than send an actual physical letter from England to the US

Cause i did not find a post about voume 18 i will post it here :
Lately I have received UY volume 18 (I ordered it 6 months ago!), and at the same time (thanks for the info Steve!) Color special 2 and 3. I wait that Cynthia take for me Color Special 1 & 4 at next Con ! Color edition is not the same book at all ! I have rediscovered Space Usagi, and at last read aventures of Nilson GroundThumper.
It reminds me that for the convention I dunnot know what I want you to draw me Mr Sakai, I have seen the little sketch of Usagi with his “girlfriend” Chizu, very amusing ! but for my own I prefer Usagi with a tokage !
So it was a good surprise this volume 18 with the color special that put an (happy) end to the really interesting sumi-e story.
In the notes you talk of Tsai Chi Chung, I would not have made a post if I had read it before…
About the Firefox Story, will Usagi meet tanuki too ?
you always referred to Juliet Piggot for Japanese Mythology ( for the Kappa story for example). Do you sometime referred to tales like Akutagawa ones ?
It was my last question before holidays, now i leave to Cathars' land...
