it's mesmering, but now i know the end of koji and katsuichi duel, and here in spain the nearest UY book we've got to that story is... grasscutter.

I am starting to wonder if I will ever get the one I ordered at the comic shop. Ack!
Glad you are loving it! I hope someday mine will come and I can see what you are praising.
Has anyone in the USA gotten this book yet? I think I will check in with my comic shop yet again.

I had gotten mine really early. It was really beautifully done, clearly superior to the Sin City and Hellboy books. And the pin-ups were awesome, Geof Darrow's was really freaky looking. I liked how Peter Laird included the Stonehenge Ninja Turtles

I got mine back in Jan or Feb, when it was raining forever-- what part of CA are you in? I know that three weeks ago, in Huntington Beach, I saw a copy in a place called Comics Unlimited-- though it's far from me, I usually go there for stuff.

And yet another sighting of the UY Art Book!
In the Sand City Borders, in California. Not far from Monterey.

It was with the books on the graphic novel, fantasy, and anime art.
:D

Even though I got mine at the Con, I love it when I see it in a store. Waiting for the UY fan that doesn't have it, to snarf it up and take it home.

The next "Art of--" book that Diana is working on is The Art of Bone with Jeff Smith.

I met Tim Sale at my local comic store this past weekend and he let me thumb through his personal sketchbook that he does his thumbnails in. One of those in there was the prelim for his Usagi pinup. Very cool stuff.
